swallowtail as symbol

summer is creating cut offs of all my pants

-capris season- 

because i want to wear sweats

but it is hot, still. 

muggy like the tropics yet it is desert here: 

climate change. 

and i am in flux, always, 

but i sit more than i stand.

there were dragonflies in my neighborhood... 

did there used to be? 

there is a resident western tiger swallowtail now too

-- is tending to the garden a butterfly effect?
